The Banter League
Privacy
The Banter League is a private EA FC league for a group of family and friends, run by Connor Mayall. This page says what the league app keeps about you, why, and who can see it. Last updated 12 October 2026.
What we keep
- Your name and email address, so you can sign in and so the league knows who you are.
- What you put on your profile: the EA FC club you play as, platform, gamertag, EA ID, Twitch link, and if you add them, your WhatsApp number, a club emoji, favourite teams, colour and time zone.
- League data: draft picks, squads, fixtures, results, goals, cards and stats.
- A log of changes (who changed what, and when), so mistakes can be checked and put right.
- If you sign in with Google or Apple, we get your name and email from them and a code that links that account to yours. Nothing else, and we never see your Google or Apple password.
Why
Only to run the league: sign-in, fixtures, results, the table, and helping managers find each other to play.
Who can see it
- Managers in the league can see each other's profiles, including email and WhatsApp number if you add one.
- The commissioner (Connor) and any deputy can see the change log and fix details.
- Nobody outside the league. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising or used to track you.
The app runs on Supabase (database and sign-in, in London), Vercel (hosting) and Brevo (sign-in emails). They hold the data for us and don't use it for anything else. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.
Getting it changed or removed
You can change your profile at any time on My profile. To have your details removed, or to ask what we hold, ask Connor on WhatsApp. Results you played in stay in the league's history, with your name taken off if you ask.
